Dowry Cell
An Anti-Dowry Cell has been set up in CAW&CW to deal with dowry-related offences with the ultimate aim to curb the menace of dowry system. The cell is headed by a Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) who is assisted by officers who closely monitor all dowry-related cases and guide field officers to ensure justice for the victims. The cell also deals with enquiries, petitions, and complaints pertaining to dowry-related offences.
