Child-Friendly Police Stations (CFPS) have been set up in districts to provide a dedicated space for children. It aims to integrate a friendly ambience and a genial approach, enabling reporting without fear, discomfort, or confusion. For this purpose, child-friendly physical infrastructure has been integrated with strengthened capacities of the police personnel to ensure that the rights of children coming into the interface with the police are protected. A model child-friendly police station is functioning on the premise of the Crime Against Women and Children Wing (CAW&CW) at Rasulgarh, Bhubaneswar. Adequate police personnel have also been appointed to look after children’s individual needs.
