A sexual intercourse by a man with a women above 18 years against her will/consent or on obtaining such consent by fraud/deception or with a girl under 18 years of age falls under the offence of rape. We understand that rape can leave a woman traumatized for life. We in CAW&CW not only have expertise in dealing with case of sexual offences like rape, but we provide extra support including assistance in connecting with other support agencies and psychosocial support to victim. We strongly encourage victims and general public to report such heinous crime.

Laws for Sexual Assault/Rape: The Criminal Law (Amendment) Act 2013 made changes in Laws pertaining to rape to make the punishment more harsh while making it incumbent upon Law Enforcement Agencies to submit charge sheet within 60 days.
