Rapid advances in technology have made transition from physical world to digital one, which increases the chances of women and children to fall prey to cyber crime.
With the purpose of registration, investigation and prosecution of offences related to cyber crime against women and children, the State Govt has established Cyber Crime Police Stations in 14 districts along with one cyber police station at CID-CB, which can be approached to report a cyber crime. The State also has in place helpline numbers for the women and children.
